Sauteed Caramel Apples

This super easy apple saute is a perfect topping on waffles. Also an easy dessert to serve with ice cream!

Sauteed Caramel Apples
Slice up about 4 apples. This time I used Golden Delicious apples. I like how they taste and they hold together well when cooking.
Sauteed Caramel Apples
In a saute pan melt butter and sugar together on medium heat. In this recipe I just two each tablespoons sugar and butter. If you want more sauce, just go Paula Deen and add more sugar and butter.
Sauteed Caramel Apples
Cook the apples, stirring occasionally until soft and light brown. If you like, add in a handful of berries right at the end of cooking.
